     @Jain@blob.cat @icedquinn@blob.cat @terryenglish@blob.cat Same. Misskey.io seems like a friendly place for artists in general. I love seeing what neat stuff people make in that instance. It's what other instances should strive for to accomodate artists.

     @limepeep @icedquinn @terryenglish thats not easy tho... we do have accounts which occasionally post their work but i guess, especially the artists of blobcat art do mostly prefer misskey tho

     @terryenglish@blob.cat @icedquinn@blob.cat @Jain@blob.cat Yeah, we need more artists to migrate from Twitter, and I feel that this requires artistic freedom. Mastodon.art seems to have violated that, imposing unnecessary blocks on instances (which greatly reduces the potential audience) and strict rules (which just fuck over innocent people).

     @limepeep There is a sickness in the fediverse that sees defederation as a first response option for all kinds of issues. Mastodon.art is kind of the poster child for that sickness. It's especially counter productive if your goal is to have your art reach as many eyes as possible. @icedquinn @Jain
