     Yeah we kinda fucked in that way. Easiest way is don’t have arrest warrants and be a chump for 10 minutes and they let you go when you don’t show up as arrestable.

     @NecroHole @graf @Crux_Invictus @kaia The lvl4 ICW? Those are meant to work In Conjunction With a IIIA or IIIA+, so they're not just a standalone plate that you can throw in a carrier by itself. A lot of their stuff works like this, and I think their carriers have a degree of protection built in as well, so you have to check the description to make sure you're getting the protection you expect.

     @graf @Crux_Invictus @kaia I've had these recommended to me by a friend who does private security, though it looks like they have some newer models now. I don't know if they're any better than the older FRAS, but they are thinner.

     @prettygood @kaia @zero @graf The individual cops I know are all decent dudes who acknowledge the system is incredibly gay and protects bad people even to the local level. It's good to know detectives and sheriff deputies because they tend to be more normal and compartmentalize work vs playing Billy Badass every day. All the ones I'm friendly with have talked about how they'll uphold the constitution even if it means fighting domestic (non civilian) enemies. Time will tell (or probably not) whether that's true.
