@prettygood @kaia @zero @graf The individual cops I know are all decent dudes who acknowledge the system is incredibly gay and protects bad people even to the local level. It's good to know detectives and sheriff deputies because they tend to be more normal and compartmentalize work vs playing Billy Badass every day. All the ones I'm friendly with have talked about how they'll uphold the constitution even if it means fighting domestic (non civilian) enemies. Time will tell (or probably not) whether that's true.
