     @TuxOnBike @pixelfed We do not store or transmit the birth date, it's only used to determine if they are old enough to sign up in this specific app screen.

     Cool. Looks very good, but why not just ask if they are over a specific age? I think that children who are smart enough to register for Pixelfed are also smart enough to be able to enter a sufficiently old date of birth. Would be better from a privacy point of view and does not require to validate the code around the statement that the date of birth is not stored.
