I want to see this but from the perspective of a business owner showing how the pesky workers are eating up all my profits through wages, benefits, insurance, “sick” days, and so on! :blobcatcomfangery:

*pays 12% income tax on employee wages + standard taxes + personal income taxes on owner equity
It’s about 15-25% of wages (the overhead a business owners pay).
Without benefits, depending on industry a 100k employee costs the business about 115-125k just to employ them + their wage.

I know what it costs to run a business, I just think these ppl that are like “omg I should get every single penny my employer brings in even though I only operate a coffee machine” are retarded.
Which is also why coffee machine workers unions are super retarded.

This is specifically why I don't hire people. They really do drain your income significantly where you could just hire a contractor

I mean I agree.
I actually support some unions.
People who are big into “anti work” are usually completely ignorant about what they are saying anyway. 😅

Unions can make sense when you’re organising around a specialised skill that can’t easily be replaced.

They do their specific task.
You pay them.
They fuck off and no one owes anyone else anything.

A bad contractor is better than a bad employee.

It is easier/cheaper to tell a contractornto fuck off than it is to fire a useless nigger sometimes.
