     - Facebook-ish but from GnuSocial era
     - Federates with a lot of protocols, including silos (kind of irrelevant now that ActivityPub took everything over and that Twitter killed off it's APIs)

     @shebang @remi Friendica's backend at least back when I used it (2015~2017 I think) was also horribly slow (And I used GnuSocial before that so it's not just due to PHP).

     @lanodan @remi I feel like Friendica is good but desperately needs a better, more modern frontend. But I actually liked the way it felt to use.
