It’s futuristic and makes people think he’s a big mover & shaker.   We have had video calling since the 1930s on closed-circuit systems developed by, you guessed it, the Germans. It is almost a century old as a doable concept.

For instance, multiple people have taken me to be angry because I ended my messages with periods (as one would in any other context).
