For example with supporting/joining FSFE (not affiliated to btw) or whatever other actual activism-centric organisation.-

If you go with just end-user software choices, DRM is going to stay, specially if people can just launch another browser to be DRM-compatible. -

It's only a pick your poison situation, with one killing you faster than the other.
@igalia is investing to re-vive @servo which is great and could be a viable alternative but that will take years.

Here's few ideas:
- Making it more well-known that their standard would prevent anti-malware on the web (adblockers being quite close to being anti-viruses)
- Support an anti-trust against Google
- Make interoperability requirements stronger or reduce the scope where DRM as a set of laws applies. For example Accessibility is already an exception in EU.
Last one being also quite important because it would at least means that you could legally write means to workaround the DRM without having to rely on sneaky and hardly efficient ways like libdvdcss does. -
