   @0x4d696b75 @lanodan huh, that sounds like an interesting conflict of interest. So why does Google give all that money then? Surely the low amount of Firefox users makes it a pretty measly investment for a default engine?

     Of course, Mozilla may be a non-profit, but that doesn’t preclude it from acting like any other tech company…

     @wolf480pl @0x4d696b75 @yassie_j Not a lawyer but I don't think user share or presence of an alternative has anything to do with antitrust, which is mostly about anti-competitive practices.
     After all Microsoft got numerous lawsuits, including one in Europe which forced them to present a browser choice popup on first startup of Windows Vista. (And the web ecosystem was much more healthy back then)
