   Linux was more fun when it was bad and customizable, not windows-lite like it is today. if I want to tolerate a forced experience that is only slightly better than bad enough that I will walk away, I will use MacOS.

     @tk I am a little bit of a hypocrite because most distros are locked into systemd which is forcing all these annoying concessions, I certainly can just switch to a non systemd distro but I don't because they are bad lol

     @tk that's exactly what I said, I am a hypocrite. But the reason though is like I said in another thread, systemd is intentionally made so that it has good things and things I hate but not quite enough things I hate to leave, just enough that I'm always dissatisfied.
