Ooof, I would like to encourage my fellow cishet-ish colonizer-descended folx to not get up in the replies when the others are talking/discussing the issues and problems they've had with cishet colonizer-descended types and how they deal with them. We're privileged to see it and it can be a great learning experience, but I think, unless invited, we should just be wallflowers on those.
Gives off some serious "not all men" energy otherwise.

@chairman_meh So when do we get to have dialogue? Complaining about racial shit independent of those conversations is no better optics-wise than "talking over POC" so when do 'we' get to talk with each other? (I say we despite being 0% colonizer-descended and white myself)
Nobody is above having shit takes, sorry. If I see a POC person be wrong or incoherent or counterproductive, I will respond to them the same way I will respond to a non-POC; I will ask questions then I will discuss or mock and hope I learn something.
"not all men" is often bad faith nonsense followed by reactionary opinions but if you start generalizing a group and dismissing any response of any kind as racism, good luck getting anyone who needs to hear what you have to say to listen to you.

I'm not crying censorship or someshit, I know that argument and I've made it myself plenty.
It's just that I can 'listen to POC' plenty, but as you know, a classroom is bullshit if I don't get to ask questions, and because it's not a classroom and the 'teacher' can just as easily be spouting bullshit, I don't think it's appropriate to be virtue signalling and engaging in massive cuck behavior just to make myself look like 'one of the good ones' who is then worthy of dialogue.

@chairman_meh I appreciate you spelling it out for me, but under this framing, I don't see the point of participating in politically charged social media, yet everyone's doing it.
Collective goodwill? Are people watching? Am I or anyone else developing a reputation just by being seen talking to people?
In truth it seems I simply don't understand impersonal social media and I don't understand what there is to do on the fediverse, and it's frustrating, because there's probably noone who can enlighten me without needing to go completely meta and dig into first order principles 'n shit.
Anyway thank you for your time. I'm probably going to stop participating anywhere except 4chan, where everything makes sense; pick a topic, discuss topic, see nazis, chew out nazis with as many obscenities as I please.

@chairman_meh I appreciate the concern, however, unlike social matters, I am very good at facts and rightoids have none, thus, detecting and resisting fascist bullshit is a lot easier than navigating leftist social dynamics.
But the left would benefit a lot from talking to people, especially lonely men vulnerable to rightoid predation. It's why we're losing globally. That and many left parties are fucking stupid (eg. germany's greens being giga anti nuclear and die linke being retarded on ukraine)
I'll try to do some local shit once the covid lockdown phase of my life is over. Unfortunately it's still not over for me.
