#Mastdon #Beer question of the day - beer festivals. In your experience, do you find beer festivals still useful? Or, have you never attended one and didn't realize there was such a thing?
Second question. If you have attended them, do you find the serving volume and ABV daunting?

G-Nitro (gnitro@urusai.social)'s status on Tuesday, 11-Jul-2023 21:48:23 JST G-Nitro @beer I loved beer festivals. We used to go as a group and all split up and grab beer to share with each other so we had the best chance to try as much as possible.
Post-covid none of us are down to share anymore, so we all kind of stopped going. Plus all the ones near me keep making huge jumps in admission price.

There have still been indoor beer festivals but they're not a good enough reason for me to share all of that unmasked indoor air with a horde. The zoo is hosting a sampling fest in a couple of weeks. I've left that tab open in my browser.
