   Fedora: We don't want to violate user #privacy. We need to figure out a way of retaining user trust related to telemetry.

   Also Fedora: Hey let's propose that telemetry is opt-out and that we gather #telemetry even in use cases where the metrics should really be gathered by the respective application, desktop environment, etc. instead -- where they can make the best choices with and for their community.

   Is #fedora trying to follow Red Hat's lead in pissing off the community?

     Discussion for those interested. If you are a Fedora user, you may want to read it and express your thoughts there. To be clear, I am saying that regardless of whether or not you even agree with me. I'm not looking for an echo chamber.

     (potentially toxic, accuracy: 11% does not inspire confidence in that automatic classification though)
