Of course Tusky doesn't ask for permission for financial info and Instagram does, you can't buy things through Tusky but you can on Instagram, maybe if you thought about that for six seconds rather than immediately running around and screaming that the sky is falling in then you might realise that

It could just be because if I want to sign up to Apple Music or renew a subscription that I'll need to put my payment details into it and that I might also be able to view my payment details but NO ACTUALLY THEY'RE COMING FOR MY SOUL VIA MY LISTENING HISTORY

So many people obviously didn't fucking grow up from 2013 when they saw that the Facebook Messenger app requested camera permissions and, rather than considering that this is because you can use Messenger to take and send photos and make video calls, pissed themselves about Mark Zuckerberg watching them take a dump surreptitiously
Maybe I can summarise my last post for you: just because you can think of a lurid worst case scenario for something doesn't mean it's true or even likely!
