     @Zealist yup. I keep mentioning this. The "dumb dad" has been a thing for a long time, before they just completely *STOPPED* showing white dads.
     
     Even Tim in Home Improvement was a stupid dad, they just allowed him to love his kids. The fat other guy was always the one that knew all the stuff on their show, and was shown as annoying. So a double whammy.
