     I have an uncle who runs a call center and uses prisoners as his main labor, he is part of a private business initiative in a few states. He can bill his services at market rate prices and is legally only allowed to pay his employees $1.05/hr. Personally, I think it's a great deal.
     
     For the right business model, prison systems are hugely profitable.

     No, and they also receive real world business skills. It is a great deal for most of them, but most of them are too retarded to learn. The number of stories I have heard from him about guys he tried to help on the outside is ridiculous. A lot of people really just are shit.

     I dunno about “real world business skills” lol, but it’s whatever I guess. I wouldn’t hire n words to work for me personally, esp ones in prison.
