It's a simple NIP. And people love emojis, so I think it'll be good. Although their demands for emojis won't stop here.

Maybe shareable packs are on relays, but I want to see what clients do with NIP-30 first. Each client could hardcode a custom set at first, meaning different clients will have access to different emojis (but all clients can view other clients' emojis). That would be interesting. Then, they could let the user upload their own emoji sets to the client. Finally, shareable packs(?)

     @7fa56f5d @fa984bd7 now that we have custom emojis we need a way to create emoji packs. I’m thinking we could use nip 51 lists and just pick an event kind for those. Similarly, sticker packs should be possible.
     
     Any nostr client wishing to implement emoji or sticker packs could let the user choose from a nip 52 list

     Nevermind, I thought you would define your emoji pack once and reuse everywhere, but since you have to specify the emoji URL every time it's good as it is.

     Shouldn't it be a separate event kind? People who don't care about emojis shouldn't be downloading kind:0 events with thousands of emoji tags.
