@aulia I haven’t used this, but I should try it. On one hand, I’m pleased that new approaches to content discovery are being built. However, have content creators given their consent to have a paid service republish their work?
@aulia@shoq We’re in a weird moment where lots of compromises are being made to “win” over Bluesky and attract Twitter migrants. Stuff like a default server would have provoked more outrage even a few months ago. Now most people seem to want that.
I don’t think for-profit email newsletters should be making money off someone’s labour without compensation.
@shoq@atomicpoet precisely but this is akin to scanning through the network and picking out posts and links, something that many people seem to object as being invasive.
I like to see things grow and this is certainly one evidence of growth outside of timeline apps. Also a little worried that there might be severe backlash by those people.
