     I think my favorite is to preserve the rhythm but move the downbeats, then add an extra beat at the end of the phrase to transform 2 x 4/4 → 3 x 3/4

     @trochee I mean, my moody mezzo-piano rendition (so as not to wake my daughter) recorded on an iPhone (with all its compression) definitely contributes to that.
