     @killyourfm Hmm… I’m trying it from the @IceCubesApp app on IOS. When I go to search for a user and paste that URL in, I wind up getting prompted to go that page… not to follow within the app.

     (And cc’ing the developer for his info.)

     When I go the actual page, there is a “Subscribe” button, and when I tap that and enter “danyork@mastodon.social” it looks like it will do a remote subscribe… but then it doesn’t.

     I will have to try this later when I’m back in office

     @danyork @IceCubesApp This is interesting feedback, thank you Dan. Keep me in the loop -- perhaps it's a configuration issue on my end, a PeerTube bug, or a just a perfect storm of problems :D

     @geoscum I fired up a Cloudron installation via Linode, then installed PeerTube with Cloudron.

     It's about a $30/month server. Dedicated 2-core CPU and 4GB RAM, but I think you could get away with a shared CPU server.

     @killyourfm Where/how are you hosting your PeerTube. Haven't looked into it much so I'm just curious what people use.
