    This was interesting.

    I'm a strong yes. I took three days last week when my kids were out of school to go to the Finger Lakes in NY.

    The structure of this question seems to have thrown off a lot of people, especially those in the Southern hemisphere.

      @evan a large part might be that Easter is in Autumn in the South, there is no equivalent holiday in our Speing, which is in the run-up to the main holiday season anyway

      I propose a poll about the geographic origin of followers. And by continents. Perhaps a different picture emerges than just the consideration of the Southern hemisphere. ;)

      @basil yes, I think "spring vacation" would have been easier for people to understand, and would include, say, a long weekend for Easter.
