     Although, it’s very specific and very unlikely a real username will get caught in it. And even if it does, it would be okay.

I could technically support npub names instead of hex, but it would requiring refollowing everyone again and would result in a spaghetti code problem in my bridge. There’s no other solution really.

     @Salastil The bridge itself now also truncates to the first 8 characters when sending mentions of Nostr users to AP. But when you reply it has to include the full text for the backend to know how to route it.

     Does this still consume characters in the post? In some hellthreads the amount of characters used by Nostr usernames was around 1-2k long.
