   Call me old fashioned but I went with the punctuation matters. My mother was a teacher and she rode my ass hard about punctuation and grammar.

     What I like about punctuation, is that if used correctly, it can create a "rhythm of speech" in which the authors thoughts become, well, distinct.

     As opposed to...

     We never got away with that. Teachers were everywhere in my family, my grandmother taught school once, and I excelled once in English, but now I can Typo as good as the rest of you
