   Hi Everyone! ?

   Today let's remember to talk to ourselves like we are our own best friend.

   Too often we talk down to ourselves, we chastise, berate, and insult ourselves when we become frustrated or upset.

   But we would NEVER let someone talk like that to our friends.

   Be kind to yourself. Talk to yourself as if you were defending a friend. Don't accept negative self talk. You have value. You have worth. You are an awesome individual.

   Don't forget that.

     I laid more framework to reinforce all of this, earlier. I think I filled four or five pages on my tablet of just important thoughts, the "why", and what I consider useful strategies.

     I'm building a framework with which not to just succeed, but recognize that success!

     It's not just what we do that matters, but what we tell ourselves about it!

     @Mrfunkedude I did this a bit yesterday. I was feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of maybe not doing something perfectly the first time for work. I know that perfectionism stems for an aversion to shame, so I just asked myself “would it make sense to hide from the world if you didn’t get this right on the first try?” and of course the answer was no, so I felt better about not being perfect at something the first time

     @Mrfunkedude and, if you fail while going about things with the best of your ability and available info, there is no reason to feel bad about the failure, it just didn’t work, and now you know a new way something can not work
