@Mrfunkedude and, if you fail while going about things with the best of your ability and available info, there is no reason to feel bad about the failure, it just didn’t work, and now you know a new way something can not work

@Mrfunkedude I did this a bit yesterday. I was feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of maybe not doing something perfectly the first time for work. I know that perfectionism stems for an aversion to shame, so I just asked myself “would it make sense to hide from the world if you didn’t get this right on the first try?” and of course the answer was no, so I felt better about not being perfect at something the first time
