If you really want to pay, I can sell you a copy of any software licensed under the GPLv3+ for $400.
I'm happy to pay for software as long as it's free and it's good, but I'll gladly take gratis software.
You can't actually pay for most proprietary malware now, what you can pay for is merely a license to use it and such license can be revoked at any time (although the terms are legally questionable, there's not much you can do about the company using technical methods with digital handcuffs to stop the software from running). -
