     @Leaflord @meso @sharutiaburaddofouren most referential comedy is only funny to people who, well, get the reference. this first pic was funny because it was absurdist and a big break from everything popular at the time, but most of the comedy revolved around referencing it. the second image isnt funny unless you know the first, ya get me?

     @Leaflord @meso @sharutiaburaddofouren its a referential meme to this image that circulated a while back; generally goth is either interchangeable or goth characters are selected. the comedy of the original is from the I'm a communist!, but the way it's used now is just 'hey, i know that one! that's funny!'
