    #Windows desktop operating system market share slowly eroding away, at a pace of about 1% annually.

    2023 will be the year of the #Linux desktop. But not Arch, BTW. ?

      @atoponce It will never be the year of the "Linux Desktop", as Linux is only a kernel and doesn't operate on its own.

      The year of the GNU/Linux desktop was 1994 or so, as you could finally use a computer in freedom again.

      @Paulo Yes, you can use that instead, but really, glibc is better than musl and Linux from https://kernel.org is proprietary software.

      You need to use GNU Linux if you want freedom (GNU Linux-libre).

      @Paulo @atoponce @Suiseiseki isn't it SystemD/Linux now?

      @51rH0n3y84d93r Btw, it's systemd and yes, if you use systemd, you can call it systemd/Linux: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/tree/init/main.c#n1572

      By the graph, it may be the year of the 'Unknown'?
