     wizards have time travel devices with unlimited use that they hand out to middle schoolers who want extra credit but no one ever thought to use one to stop wizard hitler. Someone apparently pointed this out to JKR so in the next book every single time turner in the world happened to be being stored in one cabinet in the UK ministry of magic and it got knocked over and they all broke. 10/10 writing

     @animeirl Yep. It’s just odd. JKR is a terrible person. Like we said, we actually enjoyed the Harry Potter series, though. We know other trans folks who feel the same. We refuse to let an author being shitty ruin one of the only bits of media we actually read entirely for fun as kids.

     theres some unintentionally racist stuff baked in but the series biggest flaw is turboshitlib status quo worship even though the status quo is (also unintentionally) depicted as incredibly fucked up and evil

     @animeirl Honestly we enjoyed the books as kids. Enjoyed the movies, too. I still can’t believe we didn’t pick up on some of the racist and worse rhetoric, but… It was one of the only book series “for kids” we ever got into. Our parents always wanted us to read classics. Something something “my gifted child is smarter than yours” bullshit.

     It's gonna be impossible to tell if that Harry Potter game is any good because journos are gonna shit on it because JKR and anti-SJW cringelords are gonna say its the best game ever to piss off journos no regardless of if it's even playable or not
