wizards have time travel devices with unlimited use that they hand out to middle schoolers who want extra credit but no one ever thought to use one to stop wizard hitler. Someone apparently pointed this out to JKR so in the next book every single time turner in the world happened to be being stored in one cabinet in the UK ministry of magic and it got knocked over and they all broke. 10/10 writing
