   I’m reading about the cartel… El Chapo was arrested 3 times. In the first case, he convinced 78 employees within the prison to go along with his escape plan, including the prison director.

   Then years later, he got arrested and escaped again.

   A charismatic man.

     I remember reading that there was a motorcycle at the end of the tunnel. I have no idea how jail works.

     @dave For sure, but at least some people had to be considering their duty, the moral ramifications, etc. I imagine it went like this:

     “You know what they say about me, it’s all wrong. I provide a product that people want. It is actually the government that’s doing the wrong thing.”

     Maybe he didn’t even have to say it. Maybe they just rationalized it in their own heads.

     @alex Pretty sure they were persuaded by something more than his charm, lol. Imagine how much they would all be getting paid to let that guy out.
