   So should you be able to live without using a bank? Yes. Is it practical to? Not really. Should it be legal to require either an Apple or Google phone to have a bank account? No.

   I'm enjoying watching so many replies from people who are sure they know all about Trump's $$, where it is, all kinds of analyses about what he has and what he doesn't.

   Guess what. Nobody knows. We don't even have the deets of his tax returns, nor do we know of all his properties and accounts.

   So let's just wait and see before hot taking this to death. It serves no purpose, unless it's just for fun, which is fine too.

   I was going to give ₱10,000 to 10 people yesterday, but #GCash told me my phone have (1) developer mode; and (2) install from other sources enabled when not. So forget it. #blameGCash

   Context:
   * The number 1 worst FinTech app in the Philippines, for 2023.
   * They are on a campaign blaming “developer mode” for GCash account related issues.
   * They also stupidly blocked “install from other sources” when many China-brand phones (like what I'm using, Oppo) have it enabled by default and can NOT be disabled.

   In other words, GCash alienated more than half of their users in their bid to blame their users for compromised GCash accounts.

   So, the trend now is to create scenarios (like the above) why one cannot send money, because GCash.

   ROFLMAO + WTFBBQ + /facepalm

   You can migrate back, but your followers won't be on both accounts at once. When you transfer followers, they automatically stop following the old account and start following the new account.

   This is to stop someone "selling" their followers to other accounts.

   So, if you migrate back, you'll have to transfer your followers back again too.
