   Not prime real estate. If you set your standards low enough I bet they could buy 100 "homes" in a year with that salary!
   
   So yeah, maybe 10 is possible in neighborhoods far away from the city center. But your "most expensive city" most not be very expensive if you can buy a nice condo that can house a family (3bdrm minimum) in a good location for less than ~$2M
   
   Miami: 3 bedrooms, minimum 2000sqft, max 4000sqft, near downtown and you're looking at ~$1.25M to $6M
