PREDICTION
Trolls will be out in force on social media following Trump's colossal embarrassment last night at the hands of a smart, capable Black woman. They were already popping up in my feed here, purporting to be from all over the world, picking, picking away at what they want to pretend is bad journalism (when it exposes Trump) and at Western liberal arrogance — and on and on.
My advice: don't take their bait.
But on a certain level, it's like, it doesn't even really matter that they're my family of origin. They're just people whom I love. That's it.
My relationship with my dad is not important because he's my father. It's important because a lot of love and care has gone into it on both sides. And so on.
My family of origin just so happens to make up a big part of my found family, but it's not some magic, sacred thing. It's just about having people you love who love you.
Not every state has yet enacted it, which I read as the the point that the initiative is pushing on.
My country of nationality only enacted the ban last year. Others still have not, such as Hungary, Poland and checks notes the Netherlands.
Here's why you should never again trust a big media website's "reviews"; but stick with truly independent websites for all your purchasing decisions about the hobbies and passions in your life.
Look at the review we did for the Flair 58. It is massive, and represents literally 100s of hours of work to formulate and create the review. Yet we make ZERO MONEY in affiliate links from this review (because Flair only sells it direct, and they don't pay us or have an affiliate link with us).
The review wasn't published to drive us affiliate link money. It was written to give you the best possible evaluation of a product you might spend $100s on.
My deal with you is this: if you value our content and information, we ask that you a) spread the word as best you can about what we publish (as often as you can), and b) if spending $$$ on coffee gear, consider the businesses that do support our website as advertisers (in the coffee sphere).
@numeredevs sorry, not parsing your html :-). They have invested heavily in the metaverse and they are now writing it off. And they *are* investing in AI going forward, thats the new focus area. The stuff that has landed in release software is different from what money is spent on.
My reading is that their management is so infused with the increasingly unhinged and anti-human silicon valley ethos they cannot be ongoing stewards of such a critical piece of software.
Rock on.
My snitch is pissed at me again. The first thing he did to break the ice after the last time i chewed him a new asshole for harm caused by willful ignorance was show me a video of a "migrant caravan". Bang! Another tongue-lashing.
We need to smack that shit down even if the promoters of seem decent otherwise.
Let's make it shameful to be a hater in public again.
