- Apple's support article links to http :// appleid.apple.com
- That doesn't exist. There's no server running at port 80 on that server.
- There IS an https :// appleid.apple.com.
- The https :// version uses HSTS, so if you've visited https :// appleid.apple.com at least once on the device, following the HTTP link will auto redirect you to HTTPS.
- But no one at Apple Support has ever noticed this, I guess.
