   … … … okay. Here's the explanation.

   - Apple's support article links to http :// appleid.apple.com
   - That doesn't exist. There's no server running at port 80 on that server.
   - There IS an https :// appleid.apple.com.
   - The https :// version uses HSTS, so if you've visited https :// appleid.apple.com at least once on the device, following the HTTP link will auto redirect you to HTTPS.
   - But no one at Apple Support has ever noticed this, I guess.

   Well, here's the support article explaining how to change payment methods without using an iPhone: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201266.

   "Add a payment method online
   You can also add a payment method after signing in to appleid.apple.com."

   Well, that's simple, Right?
