   When I moved to the fediverse in 2022, I really missed all the D.O. fandom posts. I followed some fan accounts on FB to make up for it, but have now left FB, too. I am not ready to fully leave Insta yet, as I really like seeing some SUHO and Taemin posts.

   As much fun as it was to have such in-depth, super-fresh news all the time, i am surviving without it all. 🫤

   I've seen a lot of "why not just join forces with Pixelfed" directed at Flashes

   Pixelfed and Flashes are two very different projects.

   Pixelfed is it's own platform with features like Stories, Collections and Portfolios.

   Flashes is a UI around Bluesky/ATproto that filters out non-photo posts.

   As our two platforms mature, the differences will become more prevalent.

   That being said, you may soon see more of Pixelfed on Bluesky.

   @feld @Moon Fedi has more interesting people than I have time to read, not sure how to measure hugeness beyond that.

   In 2012 you could still pretty much personally know the "core clique" of fedi and read all their posts.

   As long as you didn't try to read all of fabsh's posts.
