I'm so tired of dynamic pricing!
Older people in my family see a item for a good deal online, drag me with them to the store.
Item in store is a different price, obviously and they proceed to argue with the clerk and manager for the next 30 minutes until the manager either gives in and give them that price or doesn't.
It is genuinely annoying and I'm so fucking done with it.
@mwk @nazokiyoubinbou the catgirl knows what its labor is worth, because it knows what its labor isn't.
It knows what its labor isn't worth because it's been underpaid in the past. By subtracting what its labor isn't worth from what it needs to survive, it obtains a difference, or deviation.
I've mentioned this before, but sadly, I never thought sports was fun when I was a kid. It could have been fun but it wasn't.
It wasn't fun because the social environment of my school turned sports into a toxic, over competitive, cock measuring contest for the kids who participated, and the asshole instructors were supposed to be role models for us but they failed miserably in their lack of guidance and their lack of humanity.
It was the province of bullies.
This was one of those things when I was in the process of leaving behind right wing extremism that took me a long time to process: that for every one person who was fucking *serious as hell* about all the "responsibility" talk, there were THOUSANDS who fucking weren't.
It's fucking weird realizing that you ARE the propaganda. That by going out & trying to demonstrate what it means to be responsible & principled, you are creating cover for the most un-fucking-principled fucks you can imagine.
I didn't.
It allows the minister to delegate who inspects and certifies meters. This is already the case, has always been the case, for nearly every form of measure. The government does not test every speedometer.
By specifying this is an authority of the minister, the minister will determine the policy by which that certification occurs, making it clearly NOT in the control of, for example, the gas or electricity corporation.
Will the minister do it well? dunno.
@Rasp I still enjoy Jax because he is in a unique environment where there are fewer stakes.
Like if you lived in a squash and stretch cartoon world, getting the shit beat outta you would suck for all of five seconds, before you just poofed back to normal cuz the whole thing was just a visual gag.
We don't know exactly what Jax was like when he first arrived, as it seems clear that his current state is a cope for what he's dealt with since then. It's possible that either "Evil Jax" is how he used to be, or that he's always been a little bit of a comic asshole, but his traumas have cranked that up.
Everybody's bothered by him because his nihilism sorta makes him socially dissociate. He doesn't want to care anymore, so he acts like he doesn't.
It does still bother me sometimes when he acts like a dick, but sometimes it also makes me laugh. Really depends.
I won't ever shit on Ragatha though. She's just trying her best. I know people like her, kinda.
