"Do you think it's fair to allow trans women in women's sports?"

    Small picture answer:
Yes, I do and I don't give a fuck about your counter arguments.

    Bigger picture answer:
I think the real problem is that somewhere along the line, sports was turned into a big business and a eugenicist endeavor that nations and states wrap their senses of supremacy and nationalism around, rather than leaving it as a hobbyist's pursuit where people just do sports for fun.

    Now sports attracts assholes.

And I know that Hollywood isn't the best representative of reality, but I recommend watching the 1976 movie "The Bad News Bears" if you want to see how sports turns adults into complete and utter assholes. The kids follow the adults' lead and behave like jerks themselves. Some of them.

I think sports' obsession with competition at all costs brings out the worst in human beings.

(Oh, and a girl is playing on one of the boys' teams. Radical stuff, those 1970s movies.)

(Do not watch the 2005 version, btw. It was a pale imitation of the original.)

I've mentioned this before, but sadly, I never thought sports was fun when I was a kid. It could have been fun but it wasn't.

It wasn't fun because the social environment of my school turned sports into a toxic, over competitive, cock measuring contest for the kids who participated, and the asshole instructors were supposed to be role models for us but they failed miserably in their lack of guidance and their lack of humanity.

It was the province of bullies.

This is what I think of today when I consider the mess that has unfolded around trans people in sports.

I see sports behaving as a super-concentrator of bullying behaviors doing what it does best: bringing toxic assholes together to bully others.

Just as it did when I was a kid.

Again, it *could* be something fun but it's not because people, businesses, and countries wrap their fucking egos and their profits up in the whole mess.

In actual practice, sports is a cock waving competition.
