@ps I see, I can access and use the instance but not federate over yggdrasil, @silverpill the only thing I can think of that might work is using the proxy_url param with something to route yddgrasil traffic? or am I overthinking it

wired up LibreTranslate to mitra-fe
right now it just does autodetect language -> english but I should be able to set a target language in settings

pretty sure we're blocked by threads (what caused the queue backup), I haven't tried removing the filter to see what happens, but honestly don't see much value in federating with threads unless someone here wants me to double check

@silverpill I don't remember having to do anything crazy, I enabled the endpoint w/basic auth

then I ran it into my influxdbv2 bucket, I think I did get an error when trying the prometheus datasource in grafana directly, but I wanted historical data, so I didn't really even look that hard

I see the federation filter works at the network level, so it's probably not something that would fit in with the rest

incoming AP queue is backed up (~2 hours worth rn) I really should dig in and see if I can figure out a fix (or shortcut/hack) someday

@frogzone AP = ActivityPub, AP servers receive posts, likes, follows, etc etc and need to queue them up (the incoming queue) and then process them (ie., adding posts to the database). Recently a lot of "like" activities flood in from Lemmy and have been backing up that queue and it can take a while to process so our timeline will fall behind

might be time to remove the "experimental" qualifier for wizard.casa

We have been running nightly backups to BackBlaze B2 for about a week now and things seem to be going well and I plan to keep this going. Next month it will be 2 years running this Mitra instance :aru_0510:
