    TBH I shoot without sights often too, when I only want to test the action and I don't care where I'm hitting. However, at least I don't have the front sight and use the pic rail as a gutter sight.

    @shibao @kaia My daughter had a little toy Uzi when she was about 5. It had batteries, flashed at the muzzle, and made funny sounds. I taught her how to hold it properly, so it looked almost like she knew what she was doing. She horrified vendor ladies at farmers' market.

    Unironically I don't understand what's so good about Bergara. I could see an argument made for a full-on chassis rifle, but even then it's in no way better than a Ruger or even Savage.

    I'm thinking about getting a .22LR conversion for AR-15, but I'm not sure if the gas venting through the gas tube is a problem. I don't have an adjustable gas block.

    @shibao My reaction was a disappointment, "they shut down Spud Nodak for _this_?!" The promise of resurrecting H&R with SN's expertise and PSA's money was that they will bring forth amazing reproductions like M1 Garand. Instead, we get wood for AR, which a number of companies sell already.

    @shibao Sorry to cast a shade, but you aren't lying by any chance? The area of the attention centers on the attachment screws. I'm pretty sure you didn't try to zero it. Looks like an attempt to detach the sight after someone thoutlessly used a red loctite.

    I'm going to buy a P365 on Friday. Went to a range today, rented one to refresh my memory. Brought my own short magazine. For some reason, all rental P365s always come with pinky extenders. Anyhow, the recoil was noticeable but not painful.

    I love everything about this except keeping the 1:12 twist. It just means the gun cannot fire the majority of commonly available ammunition in its caliber.
