Holy hell, YouTube just decided to replace the audio of some videos with an auto generated Japanese dialogue that sounds like the original creator's voice.
So creepy

It really sucks that culturally we're wired to only give feedback to developers or projects when things are broken.

A product with 15M users gets 100 complaints and only 1 nice "good job" message per month.

It's really demoralizing that we accepted the fact that "if you don't hear from them it means things are good".

People need positive reinforcement and to know that folks are happy about their work.

I understand it's fashionable to bitch about everything because hate brings views

@Polychrome are you only stuck with Outlook or you're also completely hooked into the MS ecosystem with Office + Teams?
I'm asking because we should have Thunderbird fully supporting Outlook accounts this year and we hope to be able to give users a solid option (is those damn MS API don't make us lose our minds first)

This is a labour of love and fighting against my own self deprecation.
I've been told my whole life that I was tone deaf and a terrible singer.
I had to push myself real hard to start getting singing lessons at 39 years old, and publishing this song, knowing that it's not perfect.
I still hate the sound of my voice, and I know that I can do better, but I needed to let this go and move forward.
