The first two steps (i.e. "try now" and "learn about") are intentional. After that, the issue is that the website was unmaintained for nearly a decade and is currently a bit of a WIP.

@ArsTechnica Yeah, that's not good.

So, this is what I see on YouTube, even when I am logged in. (YouTube implemented a policy a couple months ago that requires login before viewing videos.)

I think they've finally gone one step too far.

For the record, to avoid their insulting system I've been watching videos via another non-YouTube method, but I was planning on managing an account today.
