    @anemone @mischievoustomato @sun True for a lot of things. Still, at least when it comes to Dev work, Mac has been a fucking nightmare for me compared to Linux (with Windows being far worse than both)

    And sometimes it has incredibly unintuitive ways of performing simple actions like taking a screenshot, or directly going to a folder through the UI.

    My Android phone just notified me that the 'Find My Device' functionality will now use the Bluetooth of other phones to locate my device (and by extension my device's BT to find others)

    It sounds like a cool idea until you realize it's also near constant surveillance of your location. It's also opt-out.

    Is there any option left for Android phones that comes with no Google shit by now?

    @newt @MischievousTomato My favorite thing about my work Mac is how it breaks my dev tools with every update, and how I'm forced to use xcode for other types of projects that also get broken with each xcode update.

    Oh, and also how it overheats while updating or doing anything demanding.

    @newt @MischievousTomato I was still ragging on Macs. I was implying that even if games worked on them, you would occupy all your time struggling to get your work stuff running correctly. Sorry if it wasn't very clear.

    I didn't despise Macs that much until I actually had to use them.
