#Calendar trivia: there are only 7×2=14 possible calendars. That figure is determined by the weekday the year starts on and whether or not a leap year occurs (i.e. common year or leap year).

2025 is a common year Wednesday calendar as were those of 1975, 1986, 1997, 2003, and 2014. So, if you have an old calendar from any of those years, you can bring it out and use it again!

James Cameron needs to make a #Terminator sequel in which cyborg assassins try to kill fossil fuel CEOs while Terminators protect CEOs.

The cyborgs are from a future where some machines and humans get along but fossil fuel plutocrats caused global warming leading to billions of deaths from heat waves anyway.

@doctormo @Triffen As a Debian/Ubuntu user, I already always remap caps lock to left control to relieve pinky strain and facilitate Emacs usage (which makes heavy use of control keys). So, the physical caps lock key is one of my most heavily used keys already.

@eniko Commodity cheese is strategically important if the US gets into another global war. There's probably strategic corn and canned meat reserves as well.

@brewsterkahle Yes, please. I ended up making my own setup for capturing family photos from the 1960s/1980s that were stuck on slides. I'm lucky since I happened to already own the most expensive equipment and had enough excess cash to buy the required macro lens.

Most families probably end up just tossing their collections or letting them get lost in fires or floods.

Throwing this out into the void, but I've never been able to get #VLC on #Android to work with #Samba file sharing. I've used SSH, Syncthing, and Bash scripts as workarounds for years, so I never felt the need.

#Hololive is #SesameStreet without the educational component and the puppeteers's identities are supposed to be kept secret because adult viewers are more likely to be dangerous predators than child viewers (who generally can't operate vehicles or buy tools to kidnap people with).
