@RadarRider@MartinDeLaToot its funny you mention Mucinex. my wife took it for the first time today for a similar nagging cough issue, not sure if green or blue, it was the DXMHBr variant. She got extremely flushed and itchy and then basically had a mini panic attack. I calmed her down with some cold wet towels and cold water to drink, and after about 45 minutes it passed and thankfully she's fine now.
your body knows what its doing, don't take this crap, people
@ScoWer22 we tried this around 20 years ago. my brother hid behind a tree with the racket sticking out, I hid behind a nearby tree filming obviously, and my uncle and dad fired a potato gun at the racket. it made more of a fine potato mist than French fries, and lots of laughs
@thoughtcriminal it was more of an off handed joke by JCD a long time ago, not an actually serious theory, but you're not imagining it. One of our more prevalent EOS mixers didnt appreciate it and boycotted doing EOS mixes for a year or two afterwards as a result😅
@NBS when I worked at the factory during summers in college we were doing 12 hour days M-F and 10 on Saturdays. so get up at 4:30 and chug a coffee and eat a hotpocket then get to the factory and work 6-6 with a paid half hour lunch, go home, pass out in bathtub, eat, pass out on couch, go to bed. Repeat. But yeah 9-5 is pretty rough too I guess 😅
@roundy a photo of you taking a photo of a lady taking a photo of you taking photo of a video someone took of you, with a reflection of you taking the photo of you and the lady taking a photo of you taking a photo of the lady taking a photo of the video taken of you. wild
@greyknight33@seanongley@furgar and I say this as someone who just bought my first house 3 years ago, and yeah it was at roughly the 4:1 ratio you mentioned :/
@greyknight33@seanongley@furgar there's no question that salaries haven't kept pace with inflation I agree with you there, but unfortunately that has little bearing on the material cost of a house. in fact, if salaries were keeping pace across the board, all other things being equal, the houses would be even MORE expensive. inflation vs salaries is somewhat of a catch-22 I'd say
