Honestly, all of you putting content warnings on your election posts is more anxiety inducing than the actual election.

While I’m all for trying to respect people’s triggers, this is getting a little silly. Election Day is a reality of life, and it’s here.

Had a day to digest the Davante Adams trade. On one hand, adding a WR doesn’t exactly solve our inability to stop the run, get to the passer or run the ball.

But indirectly—if this works—teams won’t be able to rush as many players when they have to cover Adams and Wilson. And they won’t be running as much if we can put up more points.

The problem is that “if” depends on 40yo Rodgers still having it coming off a lost season. Pure desperation, but it’s a do or die season so 🤷♂️ #NFL #JETS

@FlashMobOfOne As someone who followed wrestling in the mid/late-80s and then again from 97ish to 2002ish, the Roman Reigns phenomenon is completely lost on me. I don’t find him interesting as a technical performer or an entertainer, and I keep wondering what I’m missing.

@FlashMobOfOne @fasterandworse Every time I finish a Teams call, I get a bulleted summary of the call created by Microsoft Copilot. My coworkers love it. “It’s taking notes so we don’t have to.” The idea that network security isn’t leveraging the same tools to monitor us is silly.

If you’re going to talk shit about your company/leadership at work with coworkers, stop doing it over email/Slack/Teams or anything else that’s company-owned.

This is the #1 use of AI that worries me.

AI being used for arts to replace human creativity blows. Corporations replacing good-paying white collar jobs with AI to boost profits blows.

However, the ability of AI to synthesize billions of private communications—from texts to emails to Slacks to Teams to phone calls to video calls/conferences to DMs—is downright scary—and it’s happening under the guise of “national security” and “corporate security.”

I think I’m going to counter the #CovidIsNotOver hashtags with true stories like:

The best part of flying from Denver to Kansas City is by the time you get to the Denver airport, you’re nearly 2/3 of the way there.

@FlashMobOfOne Looks like 10pm. But don’t they suck these days? I had some terrible BBQ there a few years ago and a buddy told me no one local would ever hit it.

Heading to Kansas City for a short work trip. Been starving myself all day in hopes of grabbing some heady BBQ after I land. Just started looking at places to hit and there doesn’t seem to be a single joint open past 9pm on a Sunday. I land at 830. Probably should have planned better.
