    Alright so I looked into the KFarms/CBuds drama (that 90% of you didn't know or care was taking place) and I'd like to explain it like you have no baseline at all.

    There was a guy on youtube named Jim. He makes streams where he finds weird people on the internet and laughs at them. People pay Jim for this service. It's been going on for about a decade. He started referring to his fans as Chudbuds. A segment of said Chudbuds made a fedi instance under the same name to fanboy Jim and laugh at weird people on their own..
    There's a website called Kiwifarms. They make big threads where they find weird people on the internet and laugh at them. Oftentimes they'll try to then identify the person they're laughing at in real life to presumably troll them there as well.
    --There is a predictable overlap between these groups--
    Jim got sick and decided not to stream anymore. Cbuds decided there should always be a Jim-like figure that laughs at weird people so their community has produced some volunteers. KF is upset that they aren't as good as Jim and are laughing at weird people incorrectly. They're making anti-Chudbud content and doxxing the new wave of "laugh at weird people" streamers for not being Jim enough.
