Meta has finally declared that you can in fact put a price on privacy - and its $10 per month.

Last week Meta announced an ad-free subscription model on Instagram and Facebook.

A pay for privacy model further contributes to the idea of turning privacy into a luxury product.

Those who are paying the premium are also mislead, as Meta will still continue to collect and sell your personal and behavioural information while you use their platform.
