update from my publisher: they say this has happened to all their books (for reasons I wasn’t told) and it would “all be fixed” in a couple days?

Does that mean people with digital copies that lost them will get them restored?! what the heck is going on

I guess we wait and hope

if you’ve not read the replies this is even worse than i thought

it doesn’t turn up in searches

and people’s purchased digital copies are DISAPPEARING FROM THEIR DEVICES

my manager ordered a hardcover from amazon yesterday, just to see what would happen (since paperbacks and digital were removed)

this is the email they sent him when it shipped

hidden for privacy? of an item he BOUGHT?!

THEY CENSORED THE TITLE AND COVER

sadly amazon remains vital to a book’s success

so imagine my surprise to look at my book listing and see it not only under a HP ad (holy shit) but the digital and paperback versions are GONE

because i’m right there with the characters, and i’m writing Trek!

getting the keys to Voyager and brining these babes home has been such an honor

our hearts are on every page

and in this somewhat charming family movie from 2015 that’s an allegory about accepting immigrants (!)

there’s just a scene completely rife with casual implicit homophobia and transphobia

and i am so tired

five years ago today, after six years of waiting (and a lifetime of struggle), i finally got to tell the world who i really am 🩷

and despite the world not wanting people like me to exist, they have been the best five years of my life AND IT’S NOT EVEN CLOSE

and i thanked all the trans ladies who made me believe i could do it too, and still have a writing career

you never know who you’ll help, just by being you 🩷
