@apps Sure: 1) tap on a hashtag in a post 2) tap on the "pin" icon near the top right 3) tap on the home icon (bottom left) to go back to the home screen 4) tap on the hashtag up the top of the screen (actually can skip this step, I just do it) 5) long press on the hashtag at the top of the screen 6) select "any of these" 7) type in more than four terms (ideally for testing, add something you know has a very recent post) 8) Press "validate" 9) refresh the view 10) note that only posts matching any of the first four terms in your list are shown
@apps this one (unless it's changed in the last couple months): https://toot.fedilab.app/@Quentin@theres.life/113608251804509819 relevant content (from me on 7th December last year): "my biggest fedilab issue is only being able to have four hashtags in a list. I need half a dozen list tabs to follow the hashtags I want to watch (and i can't just follow them normally, because I need to follow any account I don't across which MAY post to those hashtags in hopes that I will see their relevant posts (in my hashtag lists) when they do. It's a bit messy"
@apps actually my biggest fedilab issue is only being able to have four hashtags in a list. I need half a dozen list tabs to follow the hashtags I want to watch (and i can't just follow them normally, because I need to follow any account I don't across which MAY post to those hashtags in hopes that I will see their relevant posts (in my hashtag lists) when they do. @fuat2mb The lollipop should definitely be automatic. That way there is no "will this person cry?", "Are they *too old*?" decision for the doctor. It's just needle in one hand, lollipop in the other. Even if you are brave, even if you know all the reasons you need it, no-one looks forward to any needle. But everyone looks forward to lollies!
@apps I didn't specifically want to reply to this thread but... Is there a way to toot to someone (publicly, rather than dm) from there profile page? Short of noting their handle, going back and writing a new toot and typing / copying it? Meanwhile originally what I wanted to ask please was can we have a way of reading timelines scrolling down oldest - > newest? I like to read from where I left off last time, but scrolling up, I often have to scroll up past a long toot to get to the start of it, then read down, then scroll up past it to the next one. A lot of extra effort.
@apps You can translate messages on demand now. Could there be an option to automatically translate everything into your chosen language (with an option to show original language as desired)? That would make following across languages easier
